Time to Celebrate

The world can be a very critical place.  You don’t have to look very far to find a solicited or unsolicited opinion-most times they are negative.  Negativity, for some reason, comes easy to us.  I don’t know why, but it does.  I would hate to think it’s because we’ve become such a pessimistic society that we can’t find the positive side of things. 

 

I, on the other hand, believe that the glass is ALWAYS half full, no matter the situation.  What makes the glass half full?  I’m glad you asked; it’s because we are still alive to do something about it - namely we can get some water and fill it up.  With the ability to take action in a situation, I believe, makes all the difference in the world.

I admit that you may have to look a little harder, think a little longer to find the positive, but believe me, it’s there.  Any small bit of encouragement goes a long way; especially in this seemingly critical cruel world.

We are drawn to those that encourage and or celebrate us.  It’s refreshing to be in the presence of positive people.  They brighten up a room; they lighten the mood; as well as give hope in the process and hope is a very powerful force multiplier.  The persons that exude this, enough can’t be said for the magnanimous effect they have on the society at large.  If only we could bottle this up and have readily available for opportune moments.

You, knowing that we are drawn to positive people, should practice being that positive person in your world.  Practice makes perfect; you might not get it totally right the first time, but you will still make an impact so keep trying.  Charity starts at home then spreads abroad.

 

Use this to strengthen the relationships with your family and friends; be your spouses’ biggest cheerleader-be that support for your friends.  We are in this life together, why not help each other.

When celebrating people ask them what is it that they would like for you to do that will aid them in their success.  Be truthful and honest with yourself, but if what they are asking is within your power, then do it with all your heart, might, and determination.  

If everyone did a little something, that would greatly increase the probability of them being successful; a lot of hands make the load light.  Invest in those you love and those you love will invest in you.
