Haters Exposed

There are many classifications of people in our lives; family, friends, associates, strangers, and yes even haters.  The dynamic is amazing because all of the above can go between each category.  Whatever category a person may be in, there is a function that each has as well as our behavior towards them.

We’ve heard the old saying “Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer”.  In some circles I guess that serves a purpose, but that’s not what the discussion is about today.

As much as we would like it to be so, everyone is not going to like us.  As impeccable as our character may be; as much integrity as we display, there are those that will not desire to be civil; for those very reasons.  Their rational may not be logical, however this is the world that we live in.

Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, pray for them, and do good to them although they may have, display, or even enact ill will towards us.  For some this may pose a challenge, but I assure you that with God’s help and strength, it is possible.

Enemies or Haters, have a place and a purpose in our lives.  For some, haters serve as scapegoats while others serve as motivation.  It’s common knowledge that haters will attempt to discourage, slander, impede, or sabotage any positive action that is made towards achieving one’s goals.  Scapegoat or motivation, their purpose in our lives is an individual choice.

Once an object is understood and identified, it can be used correctly.  If you don’t know how to use a certain tool, you may cause more harm than good and the damage done may take longer to repair.  The energy that you’d use negatively towards your hater can be re-channeled to accomplishing your goal.

Truth is that they must be in our lives; the must be close in order for them to see you achieve; to see you win; to see you succeed.  One of the ancient tacticians/king/poet said; “Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies”.  So let your haters hate, that’s what they do; that’s no surprise.  Continue to do you; trust me you’re an expert at it.  Fulfill your purpose because your destiny is waiting.

This has been your 80 seconds of encouragement.
